Theology of the Woke with Dr. James Lindsay and Charlie Kirk
Charlie and James agree and get along because they share one truth:

They are interesting to listen to because Dr. Lindsay is a proclaimed Atheist and Charlie is a professed Christian. They both call on the church to get ready for the battle against the new religion referred to as the Woke. They provide a plan for churches to prepare themselves and their congregation on the future of our nation. Will America stay a Christian founded country or overturned by the God of wokism?
Ever heard of Darvo? (Deny, Attack, Reverse the roles of the victim or offender)
-it is mid-level violence to provoke violent reactions so they become the victims and you the predator and oppressor
-goal is that you do nothing or overreact because the real action is your reaction
-if you react, darvo makes you out to be aggressor, attacker, and they cry victim
Combat Darvo:
-pastors must fill in the gap by engaging in local districts, school boards, and local level politics
-serve in the community (es. Moms or Liberty wants to remove indoctrination from out local schools)
-Darvo-labels Moms of Liberty as domestic terrorists so to counter this accusation is to read and understand legislation
-meet to study the founding document
-book club focusing on Constitution, civic duties, and civic engagement
-show up well informed as you present and challenge untruths (ex. Gender fluid is a lie) so be able to back up your argument with Biblical truths
-Provide a Civic Ministry to prepare you congregation when they are bringing Jesus to the public square
Theological Debate:
Can man be God is the key theological debate question?
-Logos: objective word of God-principle of divine reason

-Pathos: subjective emotions where subjectivity rules
Pathos:
-woke kids think that their subjectivity which is my lived experience with added interpretation made by the state
-people in charge are using the woke now with her subjective feels and because it is subjective once they get what they want they can change what the subjective truths that matter tomorrow
-George Soros states that “man created God not God created man”
-woke can’t coexist with belief in the transcendent, devine, or logos
-woke are self transcendent-the goal is to elevate themselves
-look at this woke transition of the term beget (means man and a woman bring a child into existence by the process of reproduction)

Delusion comes into your mind to believe you are something you are not
Cease the term beget(birthed) so they can beget themselves on an individual level
Then they transcend into the collective

Logos:
-Christians must be unapologetically saying the truth
-truth is that God is in charge

-truth is we are not him and neither is the woke
-in reality socialism underwhelms Christianity-it gets underneath it, it infiltrates and transforms it from within

Saul Alinsky: Rules for Radicals:
Power is not only what you have, but what an opponent thinks you have. If your organization is small, hide your numbers in the dark and raise a din that will make everyone think you have many more people than you do.
Never go outside the experience of your people. The result is confusion, fear, and retreat.
Whenever possible, go outside the experience of an opponent. Here you want to cause confusion, fear, and retreat.
Make opponents live up to their own book of rules. “You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity.”
Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It’shard to counterattack ridicule, and it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.
A good tactic is one your people enjoy. “If your people aren’t having a ball doing it, there is something very wrong with the tactic.”
A tactic that drags on for too long becomes a drag. Commitment may become ritualistic as people turn to other issues.
Keep the pressure on. Use different tactics and actions and use all events of the period for your purpose. “The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition. It is this that will cause the opposition to react to your advantage.”
The threat is more terrifying than the thing itself. When Alinsky leaked word that large numbers of poor people were going to tie up the washrooms of O’Hare Airport, Chicago City authorities quickly agreed to act on a longstanding commitment to a ghetto organization. They imagined the mayhem as thousands of passengers poured off airplanes to discover every washroom occupied. Then they imagined the international embarrassment and the damage to the city’s reputation.
The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative. Avoid being trapped by an opponent or an interviewer who says, “Okay, what would you do?”
Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it. Don’t try to attack abstract corporations or bureaucracies. Identify a responsible individual. Ignore attempts to shift or spread the blame.
****Key: According to Alinsky, the main job of the organizer is to bait an opponent into reacting. “The enemy properly goaded and guided in his reaction will be your major strength.”
**Another resource to watch for is Beautiful Trouble: a toolbox of tactics such as creative actions like flash mobs or blockades.

Peak-Your cause has gone viral; all eyes and ears are on you, you are winning, the future can be defined by your vision.
Contraction-organizers are experiencing burnout, supporters are disillusioned that the movement did not achieve all they thought it would, momentum is fizzling, but the movement must press on.
Evolution-after a period of movement fracture, you are rebuilding, your movement is reorganizing with the inherited wisdom of past attempts.
Opportunities Awaiting-movement has invested a lot of energy in the groundwork, alliances have been formed, opportunities await you
Marcuse, Marx, and Alinsky:
-Deconstruction-whatever must exist must be relentlessly criticized until you reduce it down to nothing= family, marriage, virtue
-The target= the church
-woke bacteria infects the church from within (disguised as a Christian)
-Marx-promoted ruthless(attitude) criticism of the church-beautiful trouble-strives to provoke you as a strategy that is also resonated in Alinsky’s rules for radicals
-targets reaction is your real action so they are trying to provoke you all the time
Strategy modeled-women’s studies as a virus (college elective class)

-virus metaphor-favorable Aids, Sars, and Ebola
-virus metaphor-cancer causes true transformational change
-goal-take a male learning to be a biologist and make him take the gender studies elective classes
-the ideology is in him so when he graduates and brings that to the workforce
-he infects biology to create new cell like in new academic department, lab, or workplace
**explicit strategy is out there-the best way to think of ourselves is as a virus that infects all institutions
Warning to the Church:
-Conservatism is not magically immune to the viruses
-Woke system needs to suppress any counter arguments
-Virus analogy-the disease (indoctrination, wokeness, marxism) will benefit itself and the host-so the immune system (Christian Faith) can’t prevent it from taking over the host
-Church is attacked vigorously from outside, but also subversively from within
-the strategy is to get the church divided and arguing over things inside the church
-add external pressure comes than they can crack the church like an egg
-If they can get the fight to happen in the church so that when the pressure comes then the targets reaction is the real action
-then pastor speak up that it is not okay the have marxist behaviors are pushed out of the church

-they are in search of a sympathetic story with a martyr in the middle of it-monster is created-every institution bended at the knee and get down on their hands to worship the woke

-secularists thrive on misrepresented viral moments the the media to manipulate your ethos-emotions-against your logos to do something out of fear not out of rationality or truth

What should a church do?
-Truth stands in distinctions (there is a distinction between man and woman)
-Gain knowledge and be vigilant like the watchman as they only want to tear all Christianity (religions-Catholics, Jews) down
-stay in Christ and expect to be the target of the viral regime
-there will be forced transformation or total destruction if not ready for the battle
-Do not get worked up into some reactionary frenzy-the IRS and the DOJ wants to come after your church
-They will label you as domestic extremists
-We have to preserve and defend while also doing the regular job of introducing people to Jesus
How to be prepared for the battle
Know your scripture
Preach the scripture
Bring people to the truth
Encourage
Learn how they operate
Understand what they are planning to do
Be discerning
Give responsibility and accountability if you know they have infiltrated your church (they will quit if they have to do work and are held accountable for their work)

Stocks for major companies such as Anheuser-Busch and Target have been hit hard after embracing woke, LGBTQ promotional campaigns.

This past week, Franklin Graham instructed Christians to prepare for the storm that is coming and this stunt to erode parental rights is proof that the storm is growing in intensity. Cutting parents out will devastate our children in so many ways, and it must stop!
