April 28, 2023 DDF Breathes New Life Post/Podcast "The Corpse" and Comments

https://photos.app.goo.gl/tMSPqXfj5uQavxas6 I usually don’t respond to comments on twitter. I am great at retweeting as others are much better at short spurts of information. I am a bit long winded. But, I just stated I respected a person and her efforts. Then some stranger didn’t just respond once, but multiple responses. Well, more like mini lectures. I tried to process how a compliment could, shall I say “trigger” a person to take that much time and energy to write out sooooo many words. I stopped reading and just closed the comments out. I remember reading a comment by Mike Rowe, the Dirty Jobs, guy who wrote something like how arrogant of a perfect stranger to think their opinion had any value on the content of his character or on his decisions or his life. It was an epic response! I know the lecture was more for the person I had complimented, but I felt for her. No wonder no one wants to actually try to make a difference in anything. Is all the bull- crap that comes with it wort

Open Your Eyes They Are Coming For Your Kids

Jesus -went in and engaged with people outside of the church -He modeled Romans 13: to submit to those in charge as they are ministers of God, so we elect people, we pray for them, and we also minister to them as they are ministers of God- holding them accountable as God has all authority over all people -politics is about decisions of a nation, so that is why Christians should be involved with the decision made over our nation -government is necessary as we need to be represented in the law -voting defines what we believe and how we want the government to represent our values “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven”-proper authority: God, we the people, government. Today’s example: we are told if we do not accept gender ideology then we are on the wrong side of history-this thought process assumes it will be so bold that it will affect all future. -we can’t assume creation of man and woman reaches into the future if we are not involved in the politics of it being

April 22, 2023 DDF Breathes New Life Post/Podcast Advice

https://photos.app.goo.gl/PMtt2YA17ekkGgWT6 What is your graduation story? It is that time of year for tears of celebration or tears of disappointment. I look back and remember the day but then I blinked and here I am 36 years later. Remember when your parents told you that life passes in a flash? Not a lie like I walked to school both ways uphill and didn’t even have soles in my shoes. LOL. I shared one of the most outlandish stories of a student who couldn’t bring herself to tell her family she was not going to be able to walk across that stage. Listen to the story on my dreamsdontfade.com site. Good Lord, maybe I am stressing for the students on the bubble. Hives, how does one just break out in hives? All around my torso. Confused the doctor as I never fit into the easy diagnosis. It just itches and the welts sting when I scratch. So, sitting there trying not to scratch the doctors says, “don’t scratch as it breaks blood vessels and bacteria under your fingernails can cause an i

April 16, 2023 DDF Breathes New Life Post/Podcast YMCA song

https://photos.google.com/photo/AF1QipP2emMjrMz7QH6xKVah6GPTEkksE3otVCtbPX_l  I went to a baseball game over the weekend. It still amazes me when the song YMCA plays age just doesn’t matter. Young and old come together to loudly sing and make the letters with their hands and arms. You can’t help getting swept away the beat and just the lifting of spirits the song requires. Hard to stay in a bad mood when that song is played. Here is a bit of trivia. 1.Do you know what YMCA stands for? Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) 2. Do you know who the audience the Village People were trying to reach? Down and out city dwellers. The band’s front man, Victor Willis, based the lyrics on his own experiences and wanted to reach out to young urban Black youth. The band’s costumes also say all youth are welcome at the YMCA as it provides more than just a place to stay to get off the streets. 3. Do you know the meaning behind the lyrics? First verse: if you are homeless and broke you have a place

Be an informed citizen: Public Comment on Nevada Legislation Bills and Resolutions

“This is undeniably a nation settled by Christians and founded upon Judeo-Christian principles. But it’s undeniable that the culture has become hostile toward many of those principles. There was once a time when it was normal to profess Christianity and adhere to Christian morality. But like Daniel, we now live in a culture that demands us to compromise our principles.” Robert J. Pacienza Politics needs Christianity and the Bible. Because without it, it is a godless pursuit. Biblical Citizenship in Modern America Week 1 Notes

Biblical Citizenship in Modern America Week 1 Biblical Course on Freedom https://www.patriotacademy.com/   The liberties of our country, the freedoms of our civil Constitution are worth defending at all hazards; it is our duty to defend them against all attacks . We have received them as a fair inheritance from our worthy ancestors. They purchased them for us with toil and danger and expense of treasure and blood. Sam Adams  “All the miseries and evils which men suffer from vice, crime, ambition, injustice, oppression, slavery and war, proceed from their despising or neglecting the precepts contained in the Bible.” Noah Webster Why we should be Biblical Citizens? -Politics stirs up fear in Christians -We the People are to govern what God has given us -We the People are to be good stewards -We the People need to take authority and reflect who we are in Christ in all he has done for us Data: -217,000 church congregations do not vote -church congregations do
