“Sex is a serious matter–especially for girls. That a single encounter can have profound, life-long consequences”
-teaching biology factually leaves out sex training vs. not assuming everyone is heterosexual; you should be less hetero-normative
-sex training leaves out the mental and physical consequences
(ex. Highest rates of sexually transmitted infections are among the gay and bisexuals)
-Why the rise of HPV? Abnormal pap smears-risk of developing cervical cancer
-not asked: was the pleasure worth it? Is the infection worth it? HIV or STD or pregnancy
-does sex trump everything, even health?

Pandemic: 3.2 million American girls have an STD

-promiscuity, experimentation, and fringe behaviors are encouraged
-at all ages, sexual freedom is a “right”
-it is an issue of social justice

Selective Science:
-PP and SIECUS-claim neutrality and accuse the religious right for the conflict instead of inserting medical facts
-Hicks: sciences-neurobiology, endocrinology, and histology
-Comprehensive Sexuality Education = pseudoscience and crackpot ideology
-Educators censoring medially accurate, up to date science, and argue that kids need more than a “plumbing lesson”
SIECUS and Planned Parenthood:
-use philosophies of the sexologist, Alfred Kinsey (****whose works have been debunked)
-use of Eugenics advocate Margaret Sanger
-Hugh Heffner
-Gloria Steinem
**Sex education became about social change and not health
**Sex education became a cultural revolution, not the eradication of disease
**Sex education teaches women and men are just alike ideologically
Teens:
-teens brains rely on gut feelings not reason
-neuroscientists identify distinct differences between a “male brain” and a “female brain”
-provide them with condoms and pills and they'll make smart decisions
What Sex Ed is Really All About:
-the goal of sexual education is no longer to prevent pregnancy and disease
-no longer health, science, or parental authority
-curricula is rooted in sexual freedom ideology
-Successful curriculum encourages students to develop their own values
-to not blindly accept those of their families or community
-to gain wisdom through open-mindedness and tolerance
-students become wide awake and open to multiples perspectives
-encourages kids to question what they’ve been taught at home and at church
-to question the ethics and morality and twist them for radical social change
Comprehensive Sex Ed:
-sex education should be taught early say the experts to parents
-teach preschoolers that each of us is sexual from cradle to the grave
-that “sexual expression” is one of our basic needs
-to have a positive body concept you should include penis and vagina
-explain that touching a body part may feel good when touched
-inform 5 year-olds that “everyone has sexual thoughts and fantasies” and that “people experience sexual pleasure in a number of different ways”
-teach kids about HIV before their ABC’s
**PP says 3rd grade is the time to find out about wet dreams, masturbation, rape, and sex-work
**9-12 year-olds should understand that male and female are not defined solely by chromosomes or genitalia
-everyone has an “internal sense” of his or her identity

-has information about drugs, alcohol, diet, depression, and other health issues
-included to learn is how to purchase adult products by phone, arrange a threesome, and stay safe during sadomasochistic sex play
***websites recommended to kids teaching them to explore their sexuality
-Truth: girls are anatomically more vulnerable to sexually transmitted diseases than boys
-Truth: they gloss over vital facts of contracting a sexually transmitted disease (treatable, incurable, and fatal)
***passing out condoms doesn’t protect the heart or emotional distress
-condoms gives a false sense of security
-latex provides no protection against emotional distress
Priority:
-our nation’s sex educators priority is to promote sexual freedom
-not to prevent infections or emotional distress
-this epidemic of teaching more kids they are sexual from womb to tomb
-this epidemic encourages more teens to question their families’ values
-this epidemic doesn’t want parent involvement of even to know what is being taught
Wake Up, America:
-sex education doesn’t promote 3 things: hard science and abstinence and parental knowledge
-the curricular claim: it is science-based, age-appropriate, non-judgmental, up-to-date, and medically accurate
-they believe they know better than parents
-they know what is best for your kids, so trust them as the “experts” and ignore your gut feelings
-their steeped ideology permeates with extremism
-the message is not the same for students as it is for parents
-they provide a sex-positive message
-they teach sexuality is a life-long adventure
-they teach that the freedom to explore and express their sexuality is a sacred “right”
Not provide:
-provide truth to make informed decisions
-dismisses medically accurate fundamentals of child development
-omit critical findings of neurobiology, gynecology, and infectious disease
-distorts psychological distress associated with teen sex
-omit sexual behavior is profound and consequential, and we reap immense benefits from self-restraint
**whatever you do do not teach abstinence
***Parents should trust their common sense, gut feelings, and traditional values
Student Reveal their Secrets:
-I lied to my parents
-If only I’d known
-If only someone had told me
Battleground:
-our kid’s minds and values
-sexually transmitted diseases are out of control
-the lie that exploration is beneficial
-regret has become our youth’s crisis
-the lie of putting their entire trust in a vaccine or a piece of latex
-time to expose SIECUS and Planned Parenthood curricula
-counter destructive messages
