I keep hearing on social media from spoiled rich big-mouthed people who look down, trample on, and degrade the country that provided them with all the wealth, opportunity, and success they have today. I do not watch the view ever, but making the rounds is Sunny Hostin which reflects disgraceful unappreciation of America.
“There are times when I walk into a community and I see American flags all over the community and I suddenly feel unsafe because there’s a section of this country that has co-opted the American flag.”
Here is a thought: You might be the problem, not the neighborhood.

A phobia of flags is known as vexiphobia. It is an irrational and persistent fear that can manifest as an aversion to the sight of flags, anxiety about their symbolism, or even fear related to their physical presence, such as their size or how they move in the wind. Like other phobias, it can cause distress and interfere with daily life, but it is a recognized condition and treatable with methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
If you have a problem with flags then it is best to go and see a therapist!
Also another issue is if these same people who fear the American flag why are they not fearful by groups striving to replace America’s flag? Are all other flags welcoming? There is no validity to these flag hating people. Today unsafe doesn’t even mean unsafe anymore. “Unsafe” used to mean there was an explicit danger like a person running toward you with a gun. This is a danger to your life. Not a representation of your emotional outburst over your subjective emotional lie!
I had never heard the term “striking the colors” before but as I was reading through something a veteran had posted. Striking the flag, also referred to as striking the colors, is a universal indicator of surrender. Once a ship’s flag is lowered, it is considered a violation of international standards to continue to engage the surrendered ship in warfare.
So, basically if we continue to allow other countries to come in and lower or remove the American flag it is surrendering our nation to the whims of other countries. If we allow the American flag to be replaced altogether then we are surrendering our country to be taken over:
-We should not be emotionally blackmailed to hide our flags
-We should not be fearful of prominently displaying our nation’s flag in front of our homes
-We should not ignore when others are ripping our nation’s flag down, burning it, and/or tries to replace it all together
-We should be angry when foreign flags are honored over our nation’s flag
-We should call out any city or state that puts our nation's flag below a foreign nation’s flag
We should not be tolerant of hate being spewed daily as we watch our children being indoctrinated to despise our great nation to the point where this generation is seeing socialism as a utopia replacement.
It is time to stop coddling the minds and actions of those who are here in a free country complaining they feel un-free. It is ridiculous and time to flip this script. Stand firm on principles, truth, and the value and love of this amazing country. We better think about what we are willing to sacrifice to either keep our freedom-loving America or allow for its “striking of colors.”
Be reminded of the last line of our Declaration of Independence and what our founding fathers were willing to give up.
"And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor."
This grave marker is a reminder that our founding fathers believed in the future where the citizens ruled. We should never forget that!
