**God intended the sexual makeup of male and female to be the means of carrying out His specific design for the world. The two sexes are immutable, having been directly created by God.
Another dangerous assault on Truth, the United States under the Biden administration is choosing to favor dangerous medical treatments for children dealing with gender dysphoria–and using the force of government against those who oppose such harmful treatments.
The United Kingdom (U.K.) have reversed their radical stand on gender dysphoria. They are now banned from letting students change their gender identity if their parent(s) disagree with the children, according to a new government policy. The policy also banned schools from calling students by their preferred pronouns unless parents give their consent regarding their child’s gender identity.
In the United States, we are witnessing a dark and dangerous trend as more and more children and teens take drastic and irreversible measures to “affirm” their identity.
-the idea of gender, as something different from biological sex, is never addressed in the Bible because it never existed as a concept until it was invented by radical campus liberals in university English and literature departments in the 1970’s.
-Through human history, whether one has been considered male or female has always corresponded with one’s biological sex at birth. “Transgenderism” is a pure novelty invented by Leftists as a way of undermining traditional morality, which they view as oppressive.
Ex. Children’s hospital of Philadelphia Gender and Sexuality Development Program has offered puberty blockers to children as young as 8 and irreversible cross-sex surgeries, including double mastectomies, to children as young as 14.
Ex. The #topsurgery on TickTock has over 2.1 Billion views with women and girls showing off their experiences getting double mastectomies. This is heavily promoted on TikTok and is extremely popular among children, teens, and adults. Typically these surgeries cannot be undone. This trend glorifies destroying the body and has no guarantee life will get any better when body parts are permanently removed.
The Church Response:
-Christians should recognize that it is not loving to allow people to persist in a delusion.
-When we indulge those who claim their “gender” is opposite that of their biological sex the suicide rate for transgender people is nearly ten times higher than for the general population.
-God speaks clearly about those who would conflate the normal roles of the two sexes.
“Women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another” (Romans 1: 26-27).
-Old Testament law commands that the distinction between the two sexes be clear:
“A woman shall not wear a man’s garment, nor shall a man put on a woman’s cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God” (Deuteronomy 22:5).
-Instead of indulging the fiction of “transgenderism,” God characterizes sexual deviation as sin, and calls upon people who are confused and broken in their sexual natures to be healed.
-God calls people to return to their proper design
Loving truthful points to make:
1- Our biological sex is part of God’s central design for us.
2- God created us male and female and those categories are not “fluid” or changeable. Science backs this through genetics. Women have two X chromosomes, while men have 1 X and 1 Y chromosome.
3- “Gender,” as a category distinct from biological sex, is not a scientific concept. It was invented by radical campus leftists in the 1970’s.
4-The Bible is clear that changing a different sexual identity than that which corresponds to one’s biological sex, or transgenderism,” is contrary to God’s design.
5-It is not loving to indulge people in their harmful self-delusions. The loving response to transgendered people is to call them to repentance and healing in Jesus Christ.
God has a special role for all women:
- Women are created equal in the image of God.
-Women are uniquely and wonderfully made.
-Women are to be peaceful and joyful daughters' of God and co-heirs with Christ.
"For as a woman came from man, so also man is born of woman. But everything comes from God" (1 Corinthians 11:12).
"Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!" (Luke 1: 45).
"God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day" (Psalm 46:5).
