I listen to a lot of books by many different authors, but the one I am listening to now starts off with the author explaining himself as an agnostic and then how his views changed. He then goes into explaining his friend who was an atheist. Never really thought about understanding those points-of-view before, but he made a very intriguing revelation for me which was that progressives have a mindset that if they destroy America at its religious foundation then they can save humankind and bring about a globalist utopia. This battle outcome is an illusion. In the end, Jesus wins. We just need to stay informed and aware of the changes that are being pushed. I know people don’t like to talk about politics, but if we are not talking then how are believers going to be ready for a movement we have never seen and how it will affect our America. The church should not put their faith in politics, but make sure that their faith is reflected in the politics making decisions for Americans. Some things to think about:

1. Constitution: “The Capitol incident gave the left all the excuse they needed to label every one of us (right-wing, republican, conservative) a “domestic terrorist” and start taking our rights away. Look at what is happening with 1^st amendment-What does cancel culture really mean? What does it mean to “reign in” certain media outlets? What speech will be reigned in? Also look for what defines a “Truth Commission” or a “Reality Czar or “Regulate disinformation.”

2. Elections: Democrats in Congress are rushing to push through a radical new bill that would give Congress ultimate authority over all future elections, known as H.R.1 (prevent voter suppression?)-mandating online voter registration not voter identification-voter harvesting easier-convicted felons right to vote-statehood of Washington DC-16 year-olds right to vote-non-citizens legal to vote-bans use of voter ID so can vote as many times as they want-at multiple sites-as whoever they want-can’t object to as poll watchers-unconstitutional-gives Congress has power over federal elections.

3. Education: Critical Race Theory-teaches kids what to think not how to think-Deconstruct identities-rewrite history-apply blame to kids of misdeeds of founding fathers-anti-racism sounds great, but polarize kids by race like all whites are privileged and minorities are all victims-judge people based on race identity-(White fragility is a book-look insidewhitefagility on youtube)

4. Military: white nationalism as a bigger national security threat domestic terror groups affiliated with Islam, for instance-right-wing extremist beliefs. Define this term and who will it vet out? Which soldiers need critical examination?

I can admit that I have been apathetic, but just seems so much is happening so fast that it is hard to keep up and the consequences to our future. My prayer is that people of faith stay informed and be active in that faith. We should articulate our position and not be afraid to speak up. Prayers for healing in hearts who are in this constant state of unknown and how it impacts you and your family. Know you are important and are being prayed for each day.
