I was in the company van going to lunch when I was approached by a man who said “I’m going to wash your windows for a dollar.”  My reply was “No thanks it is going to rain anyway.” He then stated “Well give me some money for food.”  My reply was “sorry man but I don’t have any extra cash with me today.”  He then went on to call me every vulgar word you could think of.

As I went in to have my lunch all I could think of was, what a jerk!  Here is a man who is young healthy and walked around like a stud of the parking lot.  I don’t know this individuals situation but with his approach and attitude I did not have any interest in providing him with anything.  I am the kind of person who will help others, but if you are a jerk then you don’t deserve it.

When I came out of the establishment after having lunch (fast food, not expensive) I was confronted  by this person again, who continued to go on calling me names and saying he deserves more.  My thought at this time was to reply to this asshole with my own thoughts but I kept my composer and didn’t reply a word. I got back in my van and left  to continued my day.

If you feel that you deserve something from someone or anyone then grow up and realize you don’t deserve anything, you reap what you sow.  If you are going to walk around a parking lot with a pompous attitude you better realize that you will find people who will deny your begging.

If you feel you have to beg for anything then be nice about it.
