One morning a son went to his father and said “Dad, I think it is time I get a car.”

The father replied “Sure, when you bring your grades up, read your bible every day and get a haircut.”

A few months went by and the son went back to his father and said “So dad when do you think I can get a car, I’ve brought my grades up and I ready my bible every day.”

The father replied “Yes son, you brought your grade up and you are reading your bible every day, but you haven’t gotten a haircut.”

The son stated to his father “but dad there are several men with long hair in the bible.  Moses had long hair, Abraham had long hair and even Jesus had long hair.”

The father replied “Yes son, they did and they walked everywhere.”
