As we look at pictures and updates on Japan’s catastrophic situation wishing for recovery and hope that more found alive. The clean up and rebuilding will not be quick. Take a look at these mind boggling photos:

Japan before and after photos

Now  interesting facts:

We are 882 billion in debt with Japan, so as they try to recover they have the option to sell bonds to other countries which would have a huge affect on America’s economy. We also owe 1.16 Trillion dollars to China

The left wants more money sent to help, but Cantor points out that the cuts that were made in February need to stay as cuts. This would be a good time for those who believe in redistrubution of wealth to  send their millions to Japan to help restore that country. “Essentially, what you are saying is to go borrow money from the Japanese so we can spend it there to help the Japanese.” Cantor

Maybe Steven King could send half of his wealth since he claims he wants to pay more in taxes. Guess what? Rich people can donate as much of their wealth up to 50% of their income so they can choose to but since they don’t they will not be forced?

“As a rich person, I pay 28 percent tax… what I want to ask you is, why am I not paying 50?” Steven King on redistribution of wealth.

Prayers for Japan and we donate to programs that will be in Japan helping. As middle class Americans, we strive to donate and want to help where we can, but our country is bankrupt and we owe so much money to other countries that the powerhouse had become more like a deck of cards on verge of financial collapse.

A few more notes on our economy:

The Congressional Budget Office on Friday released its analysis of President Obama’s 2012 budget proposal and found it does less to rein in deficits and the debt than the administration had estimated.

Love it when government says we are under budget and then we find it to be the opposite:

Biden broken down 5.3 million over-budget train

So,

How fitting that a school named after our profligate, post-achievement president is shutting down thanks to fiscal mismanagement and non-achievement.

We all need to watch how our government is spending our tax dollars.
