There are a lot of articles and talk regarding the show Skins, which airs on MTV.  I have not seen the show but the previews and photos are enough for me.  So this is what our country has come to?  Showing under age children partaking in sex and drugs.  MTV states they are not crossing the line, but my question is when did the line move to such racy trash?

We are living in a world where no one takes responsibility for their own actions.  I’ve seen a transformation from the time when young adults and children respected themselves and their elders.  Today that is gone and they appear as the world owes them and they have the right to act and do as they please.

Ratings are more important to these stations and not that fact they should promote morals and family values.  Why is it that a station can show naked underage children but if you were to view photos at work or home you could be charged with child porn.  Kids will watch this show and believe that it is ok for them to do just the same.  Unfortunately it seems more kids will believe in these shows more than what their parents say.
