There are many facets to our economy: Job creation, stimulus, global economic status, cap & trade, upcoming election, etc…Reading through various articles I found these interesting.

This article shows that Europe is in a financial crunch and has warnings for America not to follow. Much unrest in many countries! Just like the US, people do not want or agree with more government control. Riots and protests shout for reform and no more  Poul Nyrup Rasmussen, former Danish Prime Minister

and leader of the European Socialists, accused the power to the European Commission’s austerity measures. Commission  of lacking “an understanding of how ordinary people are suffering from this crisis. There is a complete absence of democratic sensitivity. People want an approach that promotes job creation not imposed sanctions from on-high,”

Well, the stimulus is a success says our government. Joe Biden cleverly reports that they are underbudget and contains less fraud as Obama Administration implements Stimulous package. Very slippery tongue to say we are under budget. Let’s look at a few examples of our tax dollars at work under this administration:

The government says that $522 million Recovery Act dollars have been spent on weatherization, and the GAO says that 9,100 homes have been weatherized as of December 31.

Microchip-implanted trash bins which will tally who is recycling and who is not.

Obama (and the country) has fallen when he’s lauding a $33,000 battery as “success.”

Here is an interesting way to spend tax dollars. The genitalia-washing program is part of a larger $12-million UCLA study examining how to better encourage Africans to undergo voluntary HIV testing and counseling – however, only the penis-washing study received money from the 2009 economic stimulus law. The washing portion of the study is set to end in 2011.

If the stimulus package is going so well then what is up with the state of Nevada? Where is the stimulus for Nevada? “Since May, Nevada has posted the nation’s highest jobless rate. Roughly 192,000 Nevadans lack jobs and are looking for work, with 142,000 of them living in the Las Vegas Valley.”

As I read, and yes I believe as Americans we can read and understand, but our government has the idea we are too dumb to make educated decisions so they have a new way of relating with the use of the White House’s White Board.

Wow, Americans need Goolsbee to speak really slowly and point out goose eggs to understand tax cut division between Democrats and Republicans. Guess Administration wanted to up Glenn Beck who uses a chalkboard. Wonder if our Government thinks that the use of a White Board will sway voters or will they feel insulted by in insinuation that it is necessary to color in circles to simplify the economy.

It continues to be Republicans vs. Democrats, instead of coming together to build a stronger nation. Gibbs stutters in this video clip when reporter asked him how the Republicans could be holding a non-existant bill not introduced by Democrats, YET? “I don’t know what bills have been introduced in the Senate,” Gibbs replied. Hmmm, He wants Republicans to vote on a bill he has no idea if, when, where, whom, or perspective of the bill? Not saying much for Gibbs right now!

Another hopeful note is that “Job creation” and “Jobs saved” is a bit confusing and skews the results of if the stimulus package has or has not created jobs, saved jobs, or done neither? The Recovery Board aggregates its jobs data from the “jobs created” column to display the total number of jobs saved or created. Jennings speculated that recipients might have been confused about the scope of the term “created.”

We are then encouraged by the candidates who are honest, up-front, and just want to do what is best for our country, NOT! Gotta give attack ads this year a thumbs down:

Then when immigration issues are at its highest, our candidates show why there needs to be reform:

Boxer’s campaign paid donated cash to illegal immigrants who have no idea who Boxer or Fiorina are…. to stage a fake protect against Fiorina. There’s got to be a campaign finance law or at the very least a tax code that she violated in doing this.

Stay informed and watch how American tax dollars are being spent. Hold our government fiscally responsible. Hold our representatives up to a higher standard. Clean up or get out!
