KINSOLVING: questions. Twice in recent weeks the president has quoted on the Declaration of Independence

VOICE: It’s been four times now.

REPORTER: Has omitted the declaration’s reference to rights, quote, endowed by their Creator. Why did he omit this part of the declaration?

GIBBS: I haven’t seen the comments, Lester, but I can assure you the president believes in the Declaration of Independence.

Omit “Creator” from Declaration of Independence

Our president left out one part of the Declaration and then put it back in after his listeners complained and began asking questions as to why leave out a key part. He may have thought we had forgotten or maybe he thought the American people would not care, but we do Mr. Obama.

We careso much that 300+ people stood and recited the pledge even when unauthorized by Ms. Tate-Brandish who scolded the audience afterward.  As with the Declaration of Independence we honor our allegiance to our country.  Watch the video

The LWV executive director, Jan Czarnik, also condemned the Pledge’s recitation, telling the local news, “It’s a phony patriotism issue is what it is,” she said. “[Republicans] must think it helps their campaign.” Since when is the Pledge of Allegiance only for Republicans? Oh, wait, she was a former ACORN member. Both LWV(League of Women Voters) and Ms. Tate-Bradish have been active members of the progressive movement.  Ms. Tate-Bradish was an active supporter of Barack Obama’s presidential campaign and even hosted campaign events for the then-Senator in her own home.

We are with the 300+ who honor and will stand proudly while reciting America’s Pledge of Allegiance, but the question do those who represent us and even our president believe in the same pledge? Does it speak volumes when our president omits parts of the Declaration of Independence? The question would be why omit?
