Is the Dream to open-borders at any cost?
It seems that legal Americans are the only ones that don’t deserve to be here. We have a government that wants to give, give, give and we are told to be tolerant and sensitive. Our country is bankrupt, but money keeps pouring out to groups while taking from those who are legally here.
Here are a couple personal experiences:
1. Wheelchair bound single woman applied for food stamps and was denied because she made too much money. Her Disability check each month is $1,000. She can’t live on that, but when asked why she was denied she was told that based on need money goes to minorities first. Well, since illegal immigrants may or may not be honest with income then why do they get help and not this woman? fought for years with no result
2. Young college female with no baby was denied her independent status so she could get grants. She was told she should get pregnant or get married to make the process go faster? What? So all those married and pregnant girls out there would qualify. Well, what a nice incentive to all college girls minority or not. She was also told that minorities get a certain amount set aside so it is harder to gain independent status based on her not being a minority. Had to fight 6 months to get her grants finally applied for her to go to school.
Well, with open-borders we may see a swing in that Caucasian is the new minority.

It is clear the Arizona law that regulates immigration was put in place to protect its citizens and we’re hopeful the federal appeals court will take the action necessary to clear the way for this vital measure to be implemented in its entirety. ACLJ
Open-borders lawmakers have tried and failed to pass the DREAM ACT through regular channels for the last decade. That’s because informed voters know giving green cards to illegal alien students undermines the rule of law, creates more illegal
immigration incentives, and grants preferential treatment to illegal alien students over law-abiding native and naturalized American students struggling to get an education in tough economic times. This bad idea is compounded by a companion
proposal to recruit more illegal aliens into the military with the lure of citizenship (a fraud-ridden and reckless practice countenanced under the Bush administration). By Michelle Malkin

Education is important and I don’t want students to stop getting an education, but not at the sacrifice of those legally here. When their rights are pushed aside for those illegally here then there is a problem with the system.
