Attebery’s favorite Hot Wings

First you will want to have some really good BBQ sauce.  Our choice is the Neely’s BBQ sauce.

This sauce will make about 3 to 3 1/2 cups.

Ingredients:

2 cups ketchup

1 cup water

1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

5 tablespoons light brown sugar

5 tablespoons sugar

1/2 tablespoon fresh ground black pepper

1/2 tablespoon onion power

1/2 tablespoon ground mustard

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

* for added heat put a dash or two of cayenne pepper

Directions:

In a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil, reduce heart to simmer.  Cook uncovered, stirring frequently, for 1 hour 15 minutes.

Once the BBQ sauce is done place in mason jars and place in refrigerator.

Now we are ready for the wings.

4 lbs Chicken Wings

1/2 cup Red Hot Buffalo Sauce

1/2 cup Red Hot Sauce

1 Cup BBQ sauce

Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees

Place wings in oven safe pan.

Pour and brush in entire sauce on wings.

Place pan uncovered in oven and cook for 45 minutes.  Turn pan 1/2 way through cooking time.
